We drive interest in the wide variety of behavioral health careers with people of all ages. We also strive to enhance and improve recruitment and retention efforts for professionals and paraprofessionals. In short, we work to make a positive diﬀerence in the lives of families in the region.

Paid internship programs for high school students via our partners at Building Bridges to Careers to gain valuable experience in the behavioral health field
Financial assistance with certifications in the field
Individualized and group coaching sessions designed to support and connect those new to and those already experienced in the field

Supporting and retaining an essential workforce

Widespread understaffing has put a tremendous strain not just on families in Appalachian Ohio, but the behavioral health workers who are already out there trying to fill the growing need. In addition to expanding the workforce, we’re working hard to support the people in the field right now, managing the increased demand for their services.

Through tailored services and resources, we provide tools to help our partner organizations ease their challenges, ensuring they have the support they need to continue their essential work.
