Make progress with partnerships
Like all the work we do, our prevention efforts rely on the partnerships and collaboration of organizations throughout the region and within individual communities, so that school-, community-, and home-based programs support and build off each other. All 32 counties are eligible to receive prevention technical assistance and prevention support outside of the pilot initiatives.

We focus on preventing teen substance use and encouraging healthy lifestyles through community engagement and mental health awareness-building. Our mission is to inspire, empower, and engage youth in our communities to lead efforts that promote health, well-being and positive choices. All you need is a desire to make positive community change! Leadership or prevention experience is not required.

Facilitating a Culture of Prevention
One of the best ways we can support children in Appalachian Ohio is through programs that build their resilience—and the resilience of their communities. The heart of this effort is to work alongside our existing prevention partners to help reduce the rates of substance abuse and severe mental health issues in youth in our region.
