Please join the Appalachian Children Coalition, with continued support from AndHealth as well as Matt and Meara Scantland, for the next Youth Well-Being Summit on September 10th, 2025. The summit will take place at Stuart's Opera House, 52 Public Square, Nelsonville, OH 45764, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.!

This year's summit, titled Building Pathways to the Future, will focus on innovative strategies and evidence-based practices for educators, counselors, youth-serving professionals, and community leaders committed to fostering well-being in Appalachian Ohio and beyond.

Join us for this one-day summit where we will welcome special guests and speakers to lead us in discussion and activities. We are honored to welcome Gregg Behr and Ryan Rydzewski, co-authors of When You Wonder, You're Learning, of the Grable Foundation who will lead an interactive workshop titled Wonder with Us: Mister Rogers' Lessons for Building Creativity, Belonging, and Worth. Through the timeless lens of Fred Rogers, participants will explore how wonder, imagination, and emotional connection can transform educational and community settings.

The afternoon will feature a keynote address from Dr. Brett Zyromski, Associate Professor and Program Chair of Counselor Education at The Ohio State University. His presentation, Harnessing the Power of Hope and Belonging to Foster Youth Success, Dr. Zyromski will share practical insights and research-based tools that empower adults to help young people thrive.

Join us September 10th as we create a space for reflection, collaboration, and inspiration. Full agenda will be available in July!
